With the senior national team having finished their 2015 Afcon group qualifiers, all the focus now shifts back to the Botswana Premier League.
The action will start on Friday night at Serowe Sports Complex where Palapye based Motlakase Power Dynamos will be up against Extension Gunners who are slowly fighting to bring back the glory days.
Gunners have managed a P2-million sponsorship this season and the mandate has been clear to get the team back to the top 8 and play their carpet football. Winning in style is what the Gunners die-hards want, not just ordinary wins.
Dynamos, fresh from their humiliation in the Mascom Top 8 by Township Rollers, will be looking at getting back to winning ways. According to information from the club they will welcome their new coach, Dominic Changwe, whose work permit has now been finalized.
Two other sides that were humiliated in the league also face each other on Saturday in Selibe Phikwe. FC Satmos who were humiliated and conceded 10 goals in three games against Gaborone United, will be up against Police XI.
The cops were dumped by BDF XI by away goals and their coach, Junior Letlamoreng, has made it clear that he now wants a better position in the league and that can only be achieved by beating sides below him on the log standings.
