Platinum Stars players will receive a share of the prize money if they defend their Telkom Knockout crown this weekend, which is good news for Botswana's Mogakolodi Ngele and Kabelo Dambe.
Dikwena face SuperSport United in the final at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, with the winner receiving R4,250,000 and the runners-up R1,750,000, and the Botswana duo stand in line for a healthy win bonus.
"As policy, bonus payments to staff members, including playing personal, technical and support staff, unless contractual, are at the discretion of the team," Stars chairman Ratanang Nke told KickOff.
"However, going into this most important fixture of the season so far, the team will incentivise its staff with a percentage of the prize money."
Nke did not reveal how much the players would receive if they defeat United.
