A good crowd turned up for the remaining 16 minutes of the Mascom Top 8 match between Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Nico United at Molepolole Sports complex.
The tournament branding was first class as in all Top 8 games and spectators were all geared up for the game wearing their club colours.
The Nico United fans were there in good numbers knowing that their team was only 16 minutes away from victory.
Nico won the first leg of this quarterfinal clash 3-0. Chiefs were 1-0 up in the second leg when the game was abandoned due to a power failure.
Both clubs had taken proper extensive warm-ups in preparation for their 16 minutes to complete this rescheduled tie.
"The number of fans present at this game show that everybody is taking it serious. We are happy if our stakeholders, being the 12th player, have found it fit to come and end this game with us.
"Remember that the sponsor had got only 74 minutes of their time and this is a good way of giving them the 90 minutes they deserve in the presence of fans," Mogolo Sekgwa from the Botswana Premier League explained from the match venue.
