The beMOBILE Premier League games played on Saturday produced a good number of goals while one game was goalless.
The other game was called off because of heavy rains.
A normally shy in front of goals Extension Gunners, after a goalless first half, managed to put three past FC Satmos. Despite Satmos’ 18-year-old goalkeeper, Ezekiel Morake making some brilliant saves he still couldn’t help his ailing side keep a clean sheet. Gunners’ goals were scored by Nsongamili Shabby, Pako Modikwa and Thabang Mabachi.
In Mogoditshane, at the SSKB stadium Police XI managed to play to a goalless draw with Gaborone United. The two sides are fighting it out in the top half of the log.
In the Molepolole Sports Complex, Mochudi Centre Chiefs managed four goals to bury Motlakase. Chiefs’ goals were scored by Onalethata Tshekiso, Lemponye Tshireletso (brace) and Pontsho Moloi.
In Selibe, Phikwe Nico United humbled Maun-based Sankoyo Bushbucks 3-0 to improve their position at the wrong side of the log.
In Francistown, the game between ECCO City Greens and BR Highlanders was called off because of a water logged pitch.
In the late kick-off in Serowe, defending champions Township Rollers continued their good form against Orapa United scoring a half dozen goalis. Goal scorers included Maano Ditshupo (brace), Kobamelo kenbaikanye, Motsholetsi Sikele, Jerome Lewis and Manqoba Ngwenya. Orapa United’s consolation goal was netted by Hendrick Moyo.
