Ex-Police coach Moyo linked with Hotspurs

Former Police XI head coach Maxwell Moyo has been heavily linked with new beMOBILE Premiership side Mahalapye United Hotspurs.

The Mahalapye side were promoted to the elite at the end of the 2015/16 campaign after winning the Debswana First Division North title.

Zimbabwean tactician Moyo has been clubless since being fired by Police towards the end of the of last season due to poor results.

However, according to local reports, Moyo has now found a new home at Amahot ahead of the 2016/17 season as the head coach.

Hotspurs replaced their local rivals BR Highlanders in the beMOBILE Premiership. Highlanders were relegated from the elite league last season.

Nicknamed Malume, Moyo is a respected coach who guided local giants Extension Gunners to the 2011 Coca Cola Cup success.

He also guided Orapa United to a second spot finish in the beMOBILE Premiership during the 2014/15 campaign.
