Zapata reveals GU's plan to win BTC Premiership

Gaborone United head coach Rodolfo Zapata has disclosed their plan to win this season's BTC Premiership title.

The last time Moyagolele lifted the prestigious trophy was in 2009 under Mike Sithole, who is now in charge of Jwaneng Galaxy.

“Building upon success is my strategy. Each success helps my players to develop their confidence," Zapata said.

"We have young players with skills and we have added sacrifice," the Argentine coach continued.

"Through hard work, discipline, relentless drills and an inspired tactical-technical games, GU thrived on the competition.

“Every big goal is accomplished in stages, and I broke it into smaller measurable steps."

GU sit sixth on the BTC Premiership standings with 15 points from 11 matches. They are six points behind log leaders Orapa United
