Security Systems head coach Thaloba Nthaga was happy with how his charges performed despite their narrow defeat to Township Rollers.
Popa edged out Systems 3-2 thanks to Jerome Ramatlhakwana's late goal in a BTC Premiership match which was played at the Molepolole Sports Complex on Sunday.
"It's a hard one to take, considering how we played. We knew coming here today that Rollers are very weak in defence," Nthaga told 90 Plus Botswana.
"We had to stop them from playing, and I think we did well with that. We stopped the two guys in front of the defence from playing, and that is why they changed in the second half.
The tactician was pleased to see his side apply some pressure on the Rollers defence which conceded two goals on the day.
"I am really happy with the way we played today, and also that we got something from the long throw ins. I think it's something we need to use more in our game," he added.
"If you allow them to play, they will hurt you, but if you create enough pressure, they are not able to withstand."
The win saw Rollers remain at the top of the league standings, while Systems are placed ninth on the table.
