Jwaneng Galaxy head coach Mike Sithole was impressed by Sharps Shooting Stars over the weekend.

Galaxy secured a 1-0 victory over Sharps courtesy of Kagiso Molapi's goal in Jwaneng on Saturday.

Sharps had hosted Galaxy at the Jwaneng Stadium in a BTC Premiership encounter.

"Sharps are a good side," Sithole, who hails from Zambia, told Botswana Football.

"And they looked very dangerous. We used our experience to win the game.

BTC Premiership rookies Sharps are now placed 11th on the league table with nine points from eight matches.

"But they were fighting until the end," the former Mochudi Centre Chiefs coach added.

Galaxy, who are placed second on the league standings, are eight points behind log leaders Township Rollers.

However, Galaxy have a game in hand which is against third-placed Miscellaneous.
