Botswana Football Association's president MacLean Letshwiti has congratulated the national women's goalkeeper, Sedilame Boseja.
Boseja helped her South African club, Bloemfontein Celtic, to win the Free State Region Women's Football League Championship.
Letshwiti said the net minder is doing exceptionally well in flying the country's flag, and they are proud of her work.
In their attempts to develop the women's game, Letshwiti acknowledged that the same challenges they experience in Botswana are the same challenges affecting women’s football in other countries.
“I would like to congratulate our only women’s football export to South Africa, Sedilame Boseja, and her club Bloemfontein Celtic on being crowned Champions of the Free State Region Women football League,” said Letshwiti.
“Despite the challenges, we are making progress which gives hope to our local game and encourages women to be the best they can be in football.”
