As the Botswana Mascom Top 8 is set to take centre stage this weekend, Jwaneng Galaxy coach Mike Sithole wants to defend their trophy.

Galaxy are set to start their Top Eight quarter-final assignment against Mochudi Centre Chiefs on Friday at home.

However, the Zimbabwean manager says he hopes he will have his full squad for the clash and says he is condfident of lifting the coveted trophy.

"We want to make history by winning Mascom Top 8 title back to back. It is possible. I hope we will have full squad on Friday against Chiefs,” said the coach.

"I coached almost all these clubs involved and I understand their level of thinking. We are the defending champions and our target is the final next year."
