The 2017/18 Mascom Top 8 Cup will kick off this weekend with some mouth-watering quarter-final first-leg matches taking place around the country.
This will be the seventh edition of the tournament and the first match will feature Mochudi Centre Chiefs and defending champions Jwaneng Galaxy on Friday.
Chiefs, who have never won this competition, will play host to Galaxy at the Lobatse Sports Complex in Lobatse and kick-off is at 20h00.
On Saturday, the 2013/14 champions Botswana Defence Force (BDF) XI will lock horns with their rivals Township Rollers.
BDF XI are set to welcome Rollers, who won the first edition of the Top 8 Cup in 2012, at the National Stadium in Gaborone. Kick-off is at 16h00.
The third match will feature Security Systems and former champions Orapa United at the Lobatse Sports Complex on Sunday.
Systems, who are making their debut appearance in this competition, will be the home side. The match will start at 16h00.
Lastly, the most successful team in the history of the Top 8 Cup, Gaborone United are scheduled to face Extension Gunners on Monday.
Gunners, who are hoping to win the title for the first time this season, will travel to the National Stadium to take on two-time winners GU and kick-off is at 19h00.
