Jwaneng Galaxy parted ways with accomplished Zambian coach Mike Sithole on Sunday.

This is after Galaxy suffered a 2-1 defeat to Mochudi Centre Chiefs in a Mascom Top 8 Cup quarter-final first-leg match on Friday.

Sithole, who had been appointed Galaxy head coach prior to the 2016/17 season, has left the Jwaneng-based side with his assistant Michael Mogaladi.
"True, we parted amicably today,” Sithole told Botswana Football.

“They exercised their termination clause and am cool with it.

“I don't understand their dissatisfaction. We are not fighting.”

The former Mochudi Centre Chiefs coach guided Galaxy to the 2016/17 Mascom Top 8 Cup trophy.

He has also won the BTC Premiership title with Gaborone United and Chiefs.
