Security Systems and Orapa United drew 1-1 in a Mascom Top 8 Cup quarter-final first-leg match at the Lobatse Sports Complex on Sunday afttenoon.
The second-leg match will be played at the Itekeng Stadium on the 8th of December 2017.
The hosts' defence was punished by the Ostriches a few minutes before the half-hour mark.
Omaatla Kebatho beat Systems goalkeeper Joseph Gojaamang in the 21st minute to make it 1-0 to Orapa.
This was Kebatho’s third goal in two competitive games for Orapa having scored twice against Township Rollers on Monday.
Systems tried to push for the equalizing goal, but Orapa stood firm at the back and the score was 1-0 to the visitors at the interval.
The hosts continued to push for a goal after the restart, while Orapa were pleased to have grabbed an important away goal.
However, parity was finally restored seven minutes after the hour-mark and it was Malvin Chipunza, who scored to make it 1-1 for Systems.
Systems then pressed for the winning goal in the latter stages of the encounter, but Orapa managed to contain the hosts.
Ultimately, the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate and Orapa defender Lesenya Ramoraka was named Man of the Match.
