Gaborone United head coach Rodolfo Zapata made it clear that his aim was to secure a victory over Township Rollers on Sunday afternoon.

The two Gaborone giants drew 2-2 in an enthralling BTC Premiership match which was played at the University of Botswana (UB) Stadium.

Tumisang Orebonye and Thatayaone Kgamanyane netted for GU, while Edwin Moalosi grabbed a brace for Rollers.

"We played good short passes with passion. That's GU style," Zapata told the media.

"I wanted a win, not a draw. I see some people celebrating a draw. I respect Township Rollers, but I wanted a win.

GU goalkeeper Goitseone Phoko, who produced great saves throughout the game, was named Man of the Match.

But the Botswana international was disappointed as GU conceded a late goal after losing concentration.

"My defence lost concentration," Phoko told the media.

"We lost a big opportunity to win the game, in the dying minutes."
