Extension Gunners will lock horns with Township Rollers in a highly anticipated BTC Premiership match at the Lobatse Sports Complex on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 15h45.

Mapantsola are heading into this encounter undefeated in their last four league matches having drawn 1-1 with Miscellaneous in Molepolole in midweek.

The three-time Botswana Premier League (BPL) champions have recorded two wins and two draws since losing 1-0 to Gaborone United away early last month.

Gunners find themselves placed fifth on the league standings with 17 points from 12 games. They are three points behind second-placed GU.

Ofentse Mmipi is the dangerman for Mapantsola. The attacking midfielder scored against Miscellaneous and he will look to inspire Gunners to victory over Rollers.

A victory for the Lobatse giants, who are under the guidance of Motswana tactician, Itumeleng Duicker, will take them to second spot on the league standings if other results go their way.

Meanwhile, high-flying Rollers remain undefeated in the league this season after securing a 1-0 victory over Sankoyo Bush Bucks in Lobatse in midweek.

Popa, who are record 14-time BPL champions, have remarkably registered nine victories and three draws in the league this season,

Rollers are sitting comfortably at the top of the league standings with 30 points from 12 games. They are 10 points above second-placed GU.

Segolame Boy, who scored against Sankoyo, is the player to watch out for in the Rollers team. The 25-year-old winger will be keen to score again and help his side win.

Serbian trainer Nikola Kavazovic, the Rollers head coach, will be looking to mastermind a victory which would see his side extend its lead at the top.

Last season, Rollers collected four points from their league encounters against Gunners. Popa won 2-0 away in the first round and the return leg clash ended in a 1-1 draw.
