TAFIC are looking to reinforce their striking department during the January 2018 Transfer Window.
The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has already confirmed that the Transfer Window will open on January 1 and close on January 31.
Matjimenyenga have struggled in front of goal this season having scored only nine goals in 13 BTC Premiership matches.
Elias Chinyemba, the TAFIC coach, spoke about the Francistown giants’ plans ahead of the mid-season Transfer Window.
“I have to admit that I do not have a lot of options in terms of strikers,” Chinyemba told local media.
“My main priority in the January transfer window will be to bring two seasoned strikers.
“Should we get a good striker, our bid for survival will be boosted.”
Matjimenyenga suffered a 1-0 defeat to Sankoyo Bush Bucks in a league game at the Maun Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon.
They are placed 14th on the league standings having accumulated 13 points from 13 matches.
