Botswana and Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Mogakolodi Ngele has been officially registered as a South African after acquiring his permanent residency permit.

‘Tsotso’ is slowly making his way into the star-studded Brazilians line-up as he made a substitute appearance on Wednesday night.

Although they lost 1-0 to Cape Town City, coach Pitso Mosimane’s side ended 2017 sitting on top of the Absa Premiership with 28 points.

The former Township Rollers fan-favourite’s availability on the bench against Bloemfontein Celtic last weekend has given the former Platinum Stars player a glimmer of hope regarding game time.

With Mosimane giving the player some game time, ‘Sniper’ will hope to remain in a tip top condition and feature for the club next year.

In addition, the former Uniao Flamengo Santos player will also want make a name for himself when the 2016 African champions resume the CAF Champions League campaign in February 2018.

Making his appearance in the current campaign, Ngele came off the bench in the 90th minute and showed his trademark touches for the Tshwane giants.
