Jwaneng Galaxy midfielder Ayanda Molefhe is looking forward to their CAF Confederation Cup clash against Costa Do Sol.
Galaxy will be making their maiden appearance in the continental competition when they face the Mozambican outfit in the preliminary round in February, 2018.
The Botswana Premier League (BPL) side qualified for the tournament after winning last season's Mascom Top 8 Cup, while Costa Do Sol are the reigning Mozambican Cup champions.
"Yes, we have already started preparing for our Confederation Cup matches," Molefhe told BotswanaPremierLeague.com
"We have watched their videos and we have an idea of what to expect from Costa Do Sol.
The 26-year-old, who joined Galaxy from Mochudi Cente Chiefs prior to the current season, believes that the Jwaneng-based side can overcome Costa Do Sol and advance to the first round.
"So far, we have noticed that they tend to play a lot of long balls into the opposition's box as part of their style of play especially at home," he continued.
"We want to advance to the next round of this competition and I believe that it is possible."
Costa Do Sol will host Galaxy in the first-leg clash on the weekend of 9-11 February.
The second-leg encounter will be played in Botswana on the weekend of 16-18 February.
