Uniao Flamengo Santos welfare manager Borniface Mokgosi says their top priority is to retain their status in the Botswana Premier League (BPL).
Ma-14 have struggled in the BTC Premiership this season having recorded two wins, three draws and eight defeats in the competition.
As a result, Santos find themselves placed 15th on the league standings ahead of the second round of the current 2017/18 campaign.
The local transfer window opened on Monday and it will close on January 31. Ma-14 are looking to reinforce their squad during this period.
“Yes, we are looking to reflesh our squad during the current January Transfer Window,” Mokgosi told BotswanaPremierLeague.com
“We have identified positions that need to be beefed up, but we can’t reveal the names of the players we are targeting.
Santos, who are under the guidance of Innocent Ranku, are hoping to participate in the Mascom Top 8 Cup in the future.
“The most important thing for us is to survive relegation this season. That is our top priority for this campaign,” he continued.
“If we manage to achieve this objective then we can start targeting a top eight finish in the following season.”
