Bloemfontein Celtic have confirmed that Botswana international Kabelo Dambe is currently training with the South African club.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper is still contracted to Botswana Premier League (BPL) side Township Rollers.

Dambe is training with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit with a view to earning a contract under coach Veselin Jelusic.

"Yes, he is here. He is training with us," Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco told South African publication, Kick Off.

Jelusic was in charge of the Botswana senior national team between 2002 and 2006.

The well-travelled trainer was appointed Celtic head coach prior to the start of the current 2017/18 campaign.

Dambe is looking to impress the Serbian tactician, who guided Celtic to the 2017 Telkom Knockout Cup final.
