Jwaneng Galaxy are reportedly targeting a new coach after parting ways with Mike Sithole, and former Zesco United coach Zlatko Krmpotic is linked with the post.
Since the departure of Sithole in November last year, Galaxy appointed Matshidiso Moseki as the club’s caretaker coach.
However, latest news is that Krmpotic, who parted ways with Team Ya Ziko under a cloud of controversy just before they bagged the 2017 Zambian Super League title, is linked with the job.
The Serbian manager was initially put on special leave by the Zambian outfit, before the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinalists decided to sack him.
In the wake of his sacking, the club decided to rope in Tenant Chembo (Krmpotic’s assistant), who steered the side to their sixth Zambian Super League crown as they beat Mighty Wanderers 4-2 on final day.
Galaxy now occupy the second spot on the BTC Premiership with 22 points from 13 league matches, behind Township Rollers, who have 33 points.
