Botswana Premier League (BPL) sides Security System and Sharps Shooting Stars clashed in a mid-season friendly match.

The two teams are busy preparing for the second round of the current 2017/18 campaign.

Systems have done relatively well in the BTC Premiership as they are currently placed eighth on the league standings with 17 points from 13 games.

On the other hand, BPL debutants Sharps find themselves placed 12th on the league table with 14 points from 12 matches.

Sharps travelled to Tlokweng to take on Systems in a friendly match at the Systems Training Ground on Saturday.

Goals from former Township Rollers attackers Kaone Molefe and Phenyo Molefe helped Systems overcome Sharps 2-1 on the day.

Botswana football veteran Moemedi Moatlhaping grabbed a late consolation goal for Sharps.

Systems got their revenge as they had lost 2-0 to Sharps in a BTC Premiership match last month.
