Zambian Super League Division side Green Buffaloes have started their preparations for the upcoming 2018 campaign against a Botswana league team.

Buffaloes are in Botswana as they played a friendly outside their borders, with the technical team aiming to forge new partnerships in their pre-season.

The Zambian giants played against BTC Premiership side Sharps Shooting Stars last weekend and bagged a 3-0 win at the Lekidi football Centre in Gaborone.

A hat-trick through Aubrey Bamak handed the Zambian outfit a convincing victory over Stars and that win has boosted their morale ahead of the new 2018 campaign.

Looking at the previous campaign, Buffaloes finished at number four with 70 points from 38 league games as Zesco United clinched the honours.

On the other hand, the Botswana giants occupy the 12th spot with 14 points from 12 games in the BTC Premiership and will meet Uniao Flamengo on Friday at Molepole Sports Complex.
