BTC Premiership giants Extension Gunners are looking to replace the club’s current head coach Itumeleng Duicker.

This was confirmed by Ludo Kemoeng, who is the Tsa Gae (Pty) Limited director. Tsa Gae have been running and managing the Botswana Premier League (BPL) club since 2016.

Speaking to the local media, Kemoeng disclosed that they have been talking to agents representing some coaches.

However, he explained that Duiker will remain in the team even if the new head coach arrives so that he can learn from him.

“Remember that Tumie before we roped him in, he had not coached any team in the Premier League,” he said.

“He will remain part of the technical team,” Kemoeng added.

Gunners have been inconsistent in the BTC Premiership this season and they are currently placed ninth on the league standings.

The Lobatse giants have accumulated 21 points from 16 games. They are only a point behind eighth-placed Sankoyo Bush Bucks.

They were knocked out of this season’s Mascom Top 8 Cup by Gaborone United in the quarter-finals.
