Township Rollers talisman Segolame Boy is set to miss the 2017/18 Mascom Top 8 Cup semi-final second-leg clash on Friday.
Popa are scheduled to host Jwaneng Galaxy at the National Stadium in Gaborone with the two teams having drawn 2-2 in the first-leg encounter last weekend.
Boy, who is currently nursing an injury which he picked up in the first-leg match, won’t feature on Friday.
This was confirmed by Rollers head coach Nikola Kavazovic, who also hailed Boy as one of the best players in Botswana.
“Boy suffered hard tackle from behind in the first game and he is out of the squad," Kavazovic told the club’s official website.
“Here we are speaking about one of the best players in Botswana. But, we will do everything to make surprise and reach the finals," he added.
Rollers are looking to reach the Top 8 Cup final for the first time since 2016. They were defeated by Orapa United in an exciting final.
Popa won the lucrative tournament in 2012. Galaxy are the defending champions.
