Eight BTC Premiership teams were in action on match day 17 over the weekend.

One match was played on Saturday with Sankoyo Bush Bucks facing Botswana Defence Force (BDF) XI at the Molepolole Sports Complex.

The two teams played to a goalless stalemate. As a result, Sankoyo and BDF are placed eighth, and fifth respectively on the league table.

Three games took place on Sunday with Extension Gunners playing host to Police XI at the University of Botswana (UB) Stadium.

Goals from Kekaetswe Moloi, Tapiwa Gadibolae and Uyapo Seleka helped Police beat Gunners 3-2. Kenanao Kgetholetsile and Mothusi Cooper netted for Gunners.

The victory took Police to 10th place on the table, while Gunners slip down to ninth spot on the log.

At the Molepolole Sports Complex , Black Forest locked horns with Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

Forest's Molaodi Tlhalefang cancelled out Chiefs striker Pako Moloi's opening goal as the two sides drew 1-1. As a result, Forest and Chiefs remain eighth and 14th respectively on the standings.

Lastly, Miscellaneous played host to Gilport Lions at the Serowe Sports Complex. Orebotse Mongae, Master Masitara and Resaoboka Thatanyane all scored for Miscellaneous, who won 3-2.

Lions' goals were scored by Lobopo Moremi and Simon Mashadza (own-goal). Lions remained 16th on the log, while Miscellaneous also remained third on the table.
