The Botswana Football Association has urged members of the football fraternity to support Township Rollers and Jwaneng Galaxy in the CAF interclub competitions.
Both Rollers and Galaxy are set to get their CAF club campaigns underway this weekend and BFA has called for support for the two clubs.
Popa will face El-Merreikh on Saturday in the CAF Champions League at home whilst Galaxy will meet Costa Do Sol away on the same day in Mozambique in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The BFA has also wished the two BTC Premiership sides the best of luck in the upcoming Confederation of Botswana Premier League inter-club competitions.
BFA president MacLean Letshwiti said he has closely monitored preparations of the two teams and is confident they will represent Botswana very well.
“I have asked the two clubs to go beyond the first round to allow our local boys to gain experience that will help the Zebras as they go into Africa,” said Letshwiti as he urged Batswana to come and support the teams in large numbers.
Rollers will face the Sudanese side, Merreikh at the National Stadium in Botswana on Saturday and Galaxy are on the road to Maputo.
