In the wake of their 3-0 win over El-Merreikh of Sudan in the CAF Champions League preliminary stage match on Saturday, Township Rollers coach Nikola Kavazovic is pleased.

Popa demolished Merreikh 3-0 at home courtesy of goals from Mosha Gaoalolwe, Edwin Moalosi and Segolame Boy.

Speaking after the encounter, Kavazovic said they must delight in the victory but believes it will not be easy in Sudan next weekend.

“We must be happy with today’s result, but nothing is over, absolutely nothing is over because their supporters there, that is hell,” said the coach.

“Hell is waiting for us, 70,000 people come to their stadium five hours before the game - it’s going to be hell.

“It was very difficult to play, but we will think about it from tomorrow, now we are going home to enjoy.”

The Botswana Premier League side will face Merreikh for the second leg of the CAF Champions League First Round on February 21 in Omdurman.
