Township Rollers head coach Nikola Kavazovic has fired a warning to Police XI ahead of their BTC Premiership match on Friday.
The two teams will lock horns at the University of Botswana (UB) Stadium in Gaborone. Kick-off is at 19h00.
“We will attack from the very first minute without calculation and do our best to forget Sudan in those 90 minutes,” Kavazovic told the club’s official website.
“Despite all my efforts to keep the players focused on the league game, I understand them.
“Still, in Sudan they have the opportunity to write a new chapter in the club’s history. And I would lie if I would deny that the league is the bottom of our current priorities,” he continued.
The Jungle Kings, who are placed seventh on the league standings, have done relatively well in their last few matches. They beat Extension Gunners and TAFIC in their last two games.
“They are a team to be respected. In the last eight games they are defeated just once. Last four games, three wins…in a short period they came from the relegation zone to spot seven,” the Serbian concluded.
Current league log leaders Rollers defeated Police 2-0 in the first round encounter.
