Township Rollers talisman Segolame Boy was happy to have netted against Police XI on Friday night.

Popa overcame Police XI 4-2 in a BTC Premiership match which was played at the University of Botswana (UB) Stadium.

Boy made it two goals in two matches and the forward is pleased with his scoring form.

“As I was going towards their goal, their goalkeeper came out and as I pretended to shoot he went down," Boy told the club's official website.

"I know that when a goalkeeper is off his line the defenders rush back to cover the goal line. So I decided to chip the ball into the net.

"I am happy with my recent form and that of the team; since the two games against Galaxy in the Mascom Top 8 semi final, even when I was not playing we have dominated games," he added.

"Against Galaxy we were not converting but now we are now making our dominance count."

Rollers extended their lead at the top of the league standings. The defending league champions are now nine points above second-placed Jwaneng Galaxy.
