Orapa United captain Thabang Mosige rued the team's costly errors against Township Rollers.

The Ostriches were beaten 4-2 by Rollers in the 2017/18 Mascom Top 8 Cup final at the Francistown Sports Complex on Saturday.

Mosige, who is a midfielder by trade, felt that the Ostriches struggled after conceding two early goals.

"That's football for you. It is difficult to explain," Mosige told local media.

"Two early goals drained us and we made errors, and we paid for that.

Lemponye Tshireletso, Edwin Moalosi, Bogosi Mfila and Kaone Vanderwesthuizen all scored for Rollers.

Orapa grabbed two late goals through Omaatla Kebatho and Gift Moyo.

"We only showed character after making substitutions, but it was too late," he continued.

"We feel sorry for our supporters because we also wanted to win."

Rollers avenged the 3-1 defeat to Orapa in the 2015/16 Mascom Top 8 Cup final.
