Township Rollers midfielder Galabgwe Moyana says their game plan worked as the secured a win over Black Forest on Sunday aternoon.
Moyana and Bogosi Mfila both scored for Popa as they beat Magoleng 2-0 in a BTC Premiership match at the University of Botswana (UB) Stadium.
Speaking after the game Moyana said they had worked on getting an early goal which was scored by the attacking midfielder 21 minutes into the game.
“The coach told us not to put ourselves under any pressure, we just had to go for an early goal to unsettle the opposition, then play a normal game to get the three points," he told the club's official website.
Moyana recently made his return from a long-term injury which kept him out for many months.
"That is why in the first half we tried to go for openings and get those goals. I am happy with my performance, for a long time I was working on my recovery," he added.
"A knee injury does not heal easily but I am pleased to have come back. I got to score with a header, which is an element of my game that has been there, but has not always been visible."
Rollers remained second on the league standings. The defending league champions are only behind log leaders Jwaneng Galaxy on goal-difference.
