Botswana international Kabelo Dambe made his professional debut for South African side Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday.

The goalkeeper was named on the Phunya Sele Sele starting line-up ahead of their Nedbank Cup Last 16 match against Richards Bay.

Two goals from Mpho Maruping, Neo Maemo and Kabelo Dlamini helped Celtic secure a 3-1 win over the National First Division (NFD) side at the Dr. Molemela Stadium.

Dambe joined the Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit from Township Rollers during the January 2018 Transfer Window.

The 27-year-old is competing with experienced Cameroonian shot-stopper Patrick Tignyemb, who is the longest serving player in the current Celtic squad.

Dambe is back in South Africa having played for PSL club Platinum Stars between 2012 and 2015.

Celtic will host Dambe's former side, Stars in an Absa Premiership match in Bloemfontein on Sunday.
