Resulting from their 2-0 win over Township Rollers in the BTC Premiership match on Monday, Orapa United striker Jerome Ramatlhakwana is a happy man.
The experienced forward was on the scoresheet as they downed Popa 2-0, handing them the third loss of their 2017/18 league campaign at Itekeng Stadium.
Omaatla Kebatho opened the scoring for the hosts in the 19th minute, before Ramatlhakwana sealed the Ostriches’ win in the 89th minute.
Ramatlhakwana praised his teammates as they came to the party, saying Nikola Kavazovic has done well.
"We were better prepared, and came to the party, a tap in..was not a bad goal,” said Ramatlhakwane.
"I think even our coach is settling in well. It is always difficult to join in the middle of the season.
"Even coach Nikola (Kavazovic) congratulated me at the end of the game. We had a cool chat."
The victory sees United placed fourth on the league standings, while Rollers remain at the top of the log.
