Township Rollers midfielder Edwin Moalosi was pleased to have inspired his team to victory over Sankoyo Bucks.

The skillful attacker netted a brace as Rollers overcame Sankoyo 2-1 at the Maun Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.

The win took Rollers to the top of the league standings as Jwaneng Galaxy lost 2-0 to Miscellaneous at the Jwaneng Stadium on the same day.

“I am happy to have contributed with those goals because I love the team,” Moalosi told the club’s official website.

“We have the ambition of winning the league again this season and the points will help us as we work towards that.

“We have a pool of very good players at Rollers, our management have brought together a talented set of players, and I really appreciate the chance that I am given to play,” he continued.

“So I don’t take the chance to play for granted; every time you want to give your best on the field.

“We may have lost the previous match but our mindset at Rollers is to always be positive and go for a win in the next match,” he added.

“We know along the way we may lose some games but what is important is ensuring that at the end we reach our objectives.”
