The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has announced the new technical team for its national under-17 side.

The Diamond Zebras are expected to take part in the upcoming 2018 Under-17 COSAFA Cup tournament in Mauritius in July.

Itumeleng Duiker, who is the Extension Gunners coach, will be in charge of Botswana and he will be assisted by Tebogo Mokute, while Kagiso Tshelametsi is the goalkeeper coach.

The winner of the 2018 U17 COSAFA Cup will qualify for the 2019 CAF U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals which will be hosted by Tanzania.

“The Botswana Football Association will like to formally announce the technical team of the National under 17 team that will getting in to camp from 13th- 29 April in preparations to compete at the upcoming Cosafa under 17 championship in Mauritius scheduled from 21 July 2018 till 29 July 2018.”

“ Head coach; Itumeleng Duiker, Ass Coach; Tebogo Mokute, Goalkeeper; Kagiso Tshelametsi; Team Doctor; Dr Rapelang Kealotswe Kit Manager: William Monene Team Manager; Tico Kamati,” a BFA statement read.
