Jwaneng Galaxy’s hopes of winning this season’s BTC Premiership were dented following a draw with Extension Gunners.
Mapantsola played host to Galaxy at the Lobatse Sports Complex as they looked to cement their place in the top eight on the league table.
On the other hand, Galaxy were keen to return to the top of the league standings with a commanding win over Gunners.
It was the visitors, who opened the scoring through former BTC Premiership Green Boot winner Patrick Kaunda.
The Zimbabwean marksman beat Gunners goalkeeper Katlego Mbise to make it 1-0 to Galaxy in the first 15 minutes of the game.
However, the hosts managed to level matters through their Ugandan centre forward Francis Olaki.
The forward beat Galaxy keeper Ezekiel Morake to level matters much to the delight of the home fans a few minutes before the half-hour mark.
Both teams searched for a late winning goal in the second-half, but it never came and ultimately the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Gunners and Galaxy remained eighth and second respectively on the league standings following the draw.
