Sharps Shooting Stars assistant coach Michael Mogaladi was pleased with his side’s performance against Township Rollers.

The two teams played to a 3-3 stalemate in a BTC Premiership match which was played at the National Stadium on Thursday night.

“We all came to compete and I think draw is a fair result for both teams,” Mogaladi told the media after the game.

Moemedi Moatlhaping hit the back of the net three times from the penalty spot for Sharps on the night.

“It takes a player of Jomo Moatlhaping’s calibre to lead a team like Sharps,” the retired defender continued.

Mogaladi also praised their veteran goalkeeper Raphael Nthwane, who has been one of their best players this season.

“But we have the captain Monageng Tlhaele and the best keeper in the league so far Raphael Nthwane to lead the guys,” he added.

Sharps, who are looking to finish in the top eight on their debut campaign in the elite league, remained seventh on the BTC Premiership standings with five matches left.
