Ugandan champions Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC have landed safely in Gaborone, Botswana.

The Garbage collectors are scheduled to take on reigning Botswana champions Township Rollers on Friday.

The 2018 CAF Champions League Group A opener will take place at Botswana's National Stadium.

Rollers confirmed the arrival of the Kampala-based club on Wednesday evening

"Our opponents have arrived in Gaborone and are scheduled to face us on 4th May 2018 at National Stadium, 7:00PM," a club statement read.

Egyptian champions Al Ahly will face Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis in another Group A match in Alexandria on Saturday.

Rollers will be making their debut appearance in the group stage of Africa's most prestigious club competition.
