Mochudi Centre Chiefs forward Thatayaone Ramatlapeng credited hard work after netting twice for his side on Sunday.
The diminutive attacker scored a brace as Chiefs were held to a 2-2 draw by Sharps Shooting Stars in a BTC Premiership match at the Lobatse Sports Complex.
Ramatlapeng, 21, stated that it was a difficult game for them as they did not prepare well for the league encounter.
"It was a difficult game for us,” he said after the game.
“Because we did not train for about two days (prior to the match).
Chiefs remained ninth on the league standings- two points behind eighth-placed Black Forest with two games left.
“I did some extra training alone and it worked (for me),” Ramatlapeng concluded.
The former Botswana youth international has now netted eight goals in the league this season.
He will look to add to his tally when Chiefs take on Orapa United at the Itekeng Stadium on Saturday.
