Reigning BTC Premiership champions Township Rollers could retain their league crown on Thursday when they take on Miscellaneous.

Popa are currently sitting at the summit of the log standings with 60 points and a victory will elevate them to 63.

However, Nikola Kavazovic’s men will hope to see the second placed Jwaneng Galaxy losing to Security Systems on the same day.

Galaxy have 58 points from 28 league matches and a loss will see them failing to narrow the gap as Rollers will stretch it to five points, should they claim the full three points.

However, should a result go for Galaxy’s way, the title race will remain open and will be decided on Saturday, May 19.

Jwaneng will visit Mochudi Centre Chiefs on May 19 whilst the reigning champions will be at home to Extension Gunners.

Meanwhile, both Galaxy (Jwaneng Stadium) and Rollers’ matches (Serowe Sports Complex) are set to get underway simultaneously at 15:30 on Thursday afternoon.
