Township Rollers edged closer to retaining their BTC Premiership title with a win over Miscellaneous on Thursday.

The Blues thrashed Tse Nala 3-1 in an enthralling encounter which was played at the Serowe Sports Complex.

Goals from Bogosi Mfila, Joel Mogorosi and Edwin Moalusi helped Rollers maintain their their good form, while Orebotse Mongae netted for Miscellaneous.

Meanwhile, Jwaneng Galaxy kept their slim hopes of winning the title alive with a victory over Security Systems on Thursday.

Galaxy brushed aside Systems 4-2 in an entertaining match which took place at the Jwaneng Stadium.

Thero Setsile and Tebogo Sembowa (hat-trick) both netted for Galaxy, while Systems’ goals were scored by Kaelo Kgaswane and Tumelo Mazebedi.

Thursday’s results saw Rollers remain at the top of the league standings - two points above second-placed Galaxy with one match left.

Rollers are looking to win their third consecutive title, while Galaxy are hoping to clinch their maiden league trophy.
