Township Rollers coach Nikola Kavazovic was happy to see his side dominate during their encounter against Miscellaneous on Thursday.
The Blues overcame Tse Nala 3-1 in a BTC Premiership match which was played at the Serowe Sports Complex.
Goals from Bogosi Mfila, Joel Mogorosi and Edwin Moalusi helped Rollers maintain their their good form, while Orebotse Mongae netted for Miscellaneous.
"We were playing a good side, one of top teams in the league, away from home, and we managed to dominate for 75 minutes,” Kavazovic said.
“We created many chances in the first half, and once we got the first goal we were in a position to get more.
The defending champions and current log leaders Rollers are now two points above second-placed Jwaneng Galaxy with one game left.
“At half time we added another striker; I consulted my staff and we felt we didn't need to have two defensive midfielders, and Ntege already had a yellow card so we had to protect him from being red carded,” he explained.
“But we were already creating chances from the first half, we only really lost shape in the final 15 minutes because the players lost concentration when we were 3-0 up; if the score was 1-0, we were not going to concede today.”
