Extension Gunners head coach Itumeleng Duiker remains hopeful that Mothusi Cooper will return to action this weekend.

Mapantsola will take on Township Rollers in their final BTC Premiership match of the season this weekend.

Their key midfielder Cooper sustained an injury before their clash TAFIC, but he watched on as his side secure a 2-1 win at home.

"I hope he will play our last game. He was raring to go,” Duicker told local media.

“You know when I arrived here, he was not playing. He's now our senior player, guiding our youngsters.

“We got so many under 23 players here. Some are only 19, they just need a chance to play."

Gunners are hoping to finish ninth on the league standings with a win over Rollers, who will retain the BTC Premiership title if they defeat Mapantsola.
