With both Township Rollers and Al Ahly having lost their Tuesday CAF Champions League matches, the Red Devils are coachless.

The Egyptian giants are set to welcome the Southern Africans in their upcoming Group A tie in July and have parted ways with their coach.

After their 2-0 loss to Uganda’s Kampala Capital City Authority in Uganda, coach Hossam El-Badry stepped down from the hot seat.

The new Egyptian Premier League champions have since accepted the coach’s decision with board member Khaled Mortagy saying the coach has done the right thing.

"Over the last four or five matches results have not been very promising,” said Mortagy.

"I think he has done his utmost recently winning the league he has done his bit."

Resulting from the defeat in Kampala, the eight time continental champions occupy the bottom of their group’s table with one point.

Assistant coach Ahmad Ayoub will be in charge for the final league game of the season against Al Masry on Sunday and could lead them against Popa at home.
