The Botswana Football Association was blessed with visits from two FIFA officials tasked with developing women’s football on Tuesday.
According to a statement released by the country’s FA, president Maclean Letshwiti confirmed Nicole Fisch and Sarai Bareman’s visits.
The FA boss revealed that the purpose of the meeting was to look at ways of improving women’s football.
Furthermore, Letshwiti said they believe the BFA is in a good position to grow Women's Football and will continue to thank everyone who has been supporting the association.
“Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Ms Nicole Fisch and Ms Sarai Bareman who both work for the Women Desk Office at FIFA,” said Letshwiti.
“The meeting was aimed at looking at the challenges Botswana has in growing the Women's Football. We discussed the need for us to develop a strategic plan for Women's Football.
“FIFA is in a position to send a delegation to assist us in growing the structure of our Women's Football.
“Our office will be moving towards making the necessary steps before the delegation is sent.”
