Botswana senior national team has reported a clean bill of health ahead of their maiden game at the 2018 COSAFA Cup in Polokwane, South Africa.
The Zebras are scheduled to take on Angola’s Palancas Negras in a Group B encounter at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Monday.
The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has since released the following statement:
“The boys are having lunch before we head to the Sisheho stadium later today at 1600hrs to train before our group opener against Angola on Monday.”
“Team Doctor Dr lone Bogwasi has a clean bill of health with no injuries in the team, coach Major David Bright will have all players available for this massive clash,” a statement read.
The Zebras will also take on Malawi and Mauritius in Group B matches. The group winner will take on Zimbabwe in the quarter-finals.
The bottom three teams will be eliminated from the competition.
