Reigning Botswana Premier League (BPL) champions Township Rollers have beefed up their squad ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The Blues have raided their BPL rivals Gaborone United for Tumisang Orebonye, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Jackson Lesole.
The trio have joined Rollers having helped GU finish fifth on the 2017/18 BTC Premiership standings and the club qualified for next season’s Mascom Top 8 Cup.
Orebonye, who has established himself as one of the best strikers in the country, was been linked with a move to South Africa, but he has now secured a transfer to Rollers.
Ditlhokwe impressed in the left-back position during the 2017/18 season and he was included in Botswana’s squad for the 2018 COSAFA Cup which took place in South Africa.
Lesole was one of the key midfielders for GU and he has now earned himself a move to 2018 CAF Champions League group stage campaigners.
“We have successfully completed the signings of Tumisang Orebonye (Striker), Thatayaone Ditlhokwe (Defender) and Jackson Lesole (Midfielder) from Gaborone United SC,” a Rollers statement read.
Ditlhokwe and Orebonye are expected to fill the void left by South African duo Tshepo Matete and Mthokozisi Msomi were recently released by Rollers.
