South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfit Highlands Park have signed Orapa United defender Lesenya Ramoraka.
The Botswana international attracted interest from the Lions of the North after impressing at the recent 2018 COSAFA Cup in Polokwane, South Africa.
Ramoraka, who had established himself as one of the top left-backs in the Botswana Premier League, helped the Zebras reach the plate final where they lost to South Africa earlier this month.
Ramoraka’s agent Tumi Gabonamong of Isago Sport Management confirmed the news.
"Yes, Ramoraka has signed a two-year contract with Highlands Park, with an option to renew for a further season,” Gabonamong said on Kick Off.
"He, like many others, have come through and raised their hands as the next generation of Botswana players to go far. He has developed into arguably the finest all-round left-back in the Botswana Premier League.
“Strong in the tackle and energetic enough to continually get up and down the flank, he is a brilliant crosser who generates wicked pace on his deliveries into the box.
"He certainly has the right hunger and discipline to see him excelling at the highest level."
