Botswana Premier League (BPL) side Orapa United has announced its new technical team ahead of the new 2018/19 campaign.

The Ostriches officially confirmed that Motswana tactician Mogomotsi Mpote has joined the Orapa-based side as the club’s assistant coach.

The former Township Rollers head coach will work with Orapa head coach Bongani Mafu as the 2015/16 Mascom Top 8 Cup champions prepare for the new season.

Orapa also revealed that Mompoloki Same and Tshepho Digangwa have been appointed goalkeeper coach, and team medic respectively.

The Ostriches released the following statement:

A club statement read: “Orapa United Football Club is delighted to welcome Mompoloki 'Blue' Same and Tshepho Digangwa to the technical team.”

“Mr Same joins the stable for the upcoming season as the Goalkeeper Coach of the senior team, while Mr Digangwa join as fulltime Team Medic.”

“While we welcome these two gentlemen, we also say farewell to another. The club would like to thank former goalkeeper coach and Team Medic Themba Mmui and Petrus 'Oxy' Lobelo for their services and wish them all of the best in their future endeavours.”
